Message from the President

Dear SVAJAN members,

Warm greetings to all.

I am honored and humbled to serve as SVAJAN president, and excited for the future that holds for SVAJAN with everyone’s support and participation.

We continue to evolve and grow, and we will try to emphasis on some of the followings.

New Ideas: SVAJAN will explore new ideas (for example Ramleela, bus trip).
Youth engagement and empowerment: Find ways to get more youth involved.
Humanitarian Efforts: During COVID we have helped out, we will continue to find opportunities to support those in need within our community and beyond.
Enhancing Digital Presence: Updated website. Reduce cash transactions by relying on Zelle, PayPal or checks more, and continue to push towards digital methods.
Health and Wellness: Would like to include health and wellness information or activities that can be of benefit to member’s wellbeing.
Listening/ Seeking Feedback: We are open to your suggestions and ideas. Your feedback will help us grow and better serve our community.
Prepare for future: Make SVAJAN ready for 20 years milestone in 2027!
Collaboration and Community Engagement: Build strong partnerships with all Vaishnav Vanik and other cultural organizations

As the president of SVAJAN, I am grateful to:

Founder, and all Trustees: who started and nurtured with their guidance and vision
Sponsors: who provided financial and resources support
All Committee, Women wing, and Youth wing: who work tirelessly for every event, planning to execution, bringing cultural programs/ fun activities and involving youth.
You, the Member: who participate with zeal with family and friends, volunteer, cooperate, spread positive energy

I would like to appeal two things

1.Register early for events, and

2. Bring more youth!

Thank you for being an integral part of SVAJAN, let’s make our community strong and vibrant.

I am excited to work closely with all of you as we steer SVAJAN towards a bright future.
